  • The Business Development Representative (BDR) expands the company’s reach by generating new business opportunities. Through a combination of market research, networking, and outreach, they strategically identify and contact qualified leads. The BDR books meetings between qualified leads and Business Units Managers, moving leads into their sales pipeline.
  • The BDR’s metric of success revolves around annual quotas concerning the number of discovery meetings booked, the volume of leads qualified, or percentages of revenue connected to lead generation activities.
  • To focus on top-of-funnel activity, using outbound tactics to generate leads.
  • To identify high-value prospective accounts matching the descriptions of the company’s Ideal Customer Profiles and locate relevant prospects who align with the respective buyer personas.
  • To strategically contact decision-makers within predefined target accounts and tailor their outreach tactics to the title, department, and seniority of the desired point-of-contact.
  • To reach out to leads typically via phone, email, meetings, networking events, or social media channels.
  • To initiate dialogues with leads in order to better understand their goals, challenges, concerns, and constraints.
  • To evaluate prospects’ needs and determine whether the company’s services and solutions would advance their business objectives.
  • To qualify leads with genuine potential and pass them on to the business units managers for nurturing and conversion.
  • To use market research to stay well-informed about competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging sales opportunities.
  • To monitor competitors’ strategies and solutions, target market behaviors, and shifting industry currents to identify new prospects and also adapt lead generation tactics to accommodate market changes.

Nasze wymagania

  • The BDR should have a background in sales, marketing, or a related field. They should also demonstrate proficiency with important sales tools and have a strong command of technical knowledge relevant to the IT industry.
  • BA in business administration, management or marketing, or equivalent.
  • An interest in the IT industry.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Methodical and well organized.
  • The ability to handle data, analyze and interpret market reports, develop performance reports and more.
  • Confidence when dealing with a variety of people.
  • Fluency in English (work in foreign markets and in an international team)
