High-school students explore the Łódź jobs market
In 2023, MakoLab joined a pilot programme, ‘A Taste of Work in Łódź’. High schools in Łódź were invited to take part, along with companies from the technology sector. Did we stop at that? Or have we extended our outreach? Read on to find out!
We have a great many graduates of Łódź school and HEIs at MakoLab. In addition, ‘A Taste of Work in Łódź’ is a programme that matches our values perfectly. The initiative is designed not only to encourage young people to envisage their future in Łódź by raising their awareness of the city’s potential and job prospects, but also to help them plan their careers.
This is the second time we’ve invited local high-school students to visit us for a taste of work at MakoLab and this year, we flung the doors open wider, welcoming schools from Radomsko, as well. The students enjoyed several presentations, not to mention a guided tour of our HQ, giving them a real insider’s look at our company. In addition, their visit was not only a chance for them to explore careers in IT, but also for us to encourage them to study at our city’s HEIs.
Did you know that every single member of our management board is a graduate of Łódź University of Technology?
