MakoLab Group increases profits and records strong growth in Q1 2026 operating results

MakoLab Group recorded a rise in revenues and a significant improvement in profitability, driven primarily by the expansion of export operations and projects in the field of cutting-edge technologies.

Revenues for the period totalled PLN 19 200 000, an increase of 6%, year on year. Foreign sales represent 72% of that figure, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 11%. Operating profit rose by 31%, year on year, at PLN 1 300 000, while the EBITDA year-on-year increase reached PLN 1 500 000. However, the most dynamic growth was seen in the net result, which totalled PLN 1 390 000, in comparison with PLN 140 000 for the previous year, representing an increase of 916%, year on year.

The improvement in results was driven by the expanded operational activities and the positive financial operations result; at PLN 586 000, this mainly sprang from differences in exchange rates.

The first quarter of 2026 confirmed the effectiveness of our chosen course of action, which is rooted in increasing our international sales and projects of high added value. We’re particularly pleased with the dynamic rise in profitability, which is the outcome of both the scale of our operations and the growing part played by advanced technological solutions in our portfolio.
Mirosław Sopek, PhD, President of the Management Board, MakoLab S.A.

The increase in international sales was grounded in the intensification of work with clients in the aviation and finance sectors, along with a growth in data centre services.

The company reported a decline in sales on the domestic market. This was chiefly connected with less activity on the part of the subsidiary company, which was partially compensated for by the growth in other business segments.

We’re consistently expanding our projects in areas like connected vehicles, business systems for large organisations and AI-driven solutions. We’re working in parallel on a new strategy and operating model designed to prepare the company for the next stage of development, including potential acquisitions.
Mirosław Sopek.
