One of the most significant events in its field, it brings together policymakers, business leaders, preeminent OEMs, vehicle manufacturers, investors, partners and enthusiasts focused on innovative solutions for the car world.

It goes without saying that, as a service provider to connected car industry leaders the world over, MakoLab will be a presence there. Thomas Schardt, the MD of MakoLab GmbH, and Marek Wodzisławski, the head of our Connected Vehicles Business Unit, will be in Munich on 22nd and 23rd March, joining the event, showcasing our values and exploring the latest trends.
We talked to Marek Wodzisławski about his expectations of the event and what he is setting out to achieve there. This is what he told us:
This is our first time at 2nd Digital Revolution, so that’s all the more reason why we can’t wait to get there and why we’re thrilled by the very thought of spending two days in the company of the most prominent companies and figures in the connected car world. The people who are taking part in the conference represent major vehicle manufacturers with powerful market positions. Even so, the growth of the connected car business and the development of its technology is taking them through changes, as well. The panels are going to be fascinating, with the chance to hear all sorts of discussions, discover who is taking what approach to those changes and identify where the opportunities for mutual collaboration lie. New companies are bound to be making an appearance there and we’re certainly aiming to bring our values and experience in providing connected car solutions to their attention. To sum up, we’re counting on a worthwhile exchange of knowledge and experience, together with some effective networking.

The organisers of 2nd Digital Revolution have invested great care and attention in putting together a full range of interesting talks and discussion panels. The attendees will have the chance of listening to key industry leaders, including representatives of brands like Elektron Motors GmbH, Renault Group, Jaguar Land Rover, Ford Motor Company and Kia Motors Europe GmbH.
There is one panel discussion in particular that we can recommend. Entitled The future of connected vehicles, the market outlook and the industry forecast, it will feature none other than our own Marek Wodzisławski. Together with Alex Nikolaev, Connected Car and Infotainment Manager for Kia Motors Europe GmbH, and João Miguel Climaco dos Santos, Senior Automotive Product Manager, EU region , Fisker Inc., he will be talking about crucial trends and prognoses related to connected vehicles, which is one of the most vital areas of the automotive sector. The panel will be moderated by Dr Mario De Felice, Head of Software Architecture, Jaguar Land Rover. We certainly think it sounds fascinating!

MakoLab’s presence at 2nd Digital Revolution in Connected Cars promises to be a major opportunity not only for networking, but also for opening up a plenty of business potential. We’re on tenterhooks! In the meantime, our preparations continue. Watch this space for our report, hot off the press from Munich!
