We’ve just returned from StrapiConf 2025 in Paris and we’re more energized than ever about what’s coming for the headless CMS ecosystem. As the first in-person edition of StrapiConf, the event brought together over 350 developers, product teams, and digital leaders from around the world. For us at MakoLab, it was an incredible opportunity to connect with the people shaping the future of content management and to explore how Strapi is evolving into a more powerful, flexible, and enterprise-ready platform.
The enthusiasm at StrapiConf 2025 was palpable, with attendees sharing their experiences on social media.
The keynote by co-founders Pierre Burgy and Aurélien Georget unveiled a series of groundbreaking features in Strapi v5.14, marking a significant leap forward for the platform.
One of the most anticipated features, Live Preview, is now available. This functionality allows editors to see real-time updates side-by-side with content edits, eliminating the need to switch between tabs or wait for rebuilds. It's compatible with any frontend consuming the Strapi API and is included in the Growth and Enterprise plans.
Strapi AI, currently in private beta, introduces an AI-powered content modeling assistant that transforms prompts, frontend applications, or Figma designs into complete content structures. This feature aims to accelerate content architecture design, making it more collaborative and efficient.
JavaScript SDK (@strapi/sdk-js): A new client library that simplifies API integration with modern frontends like Next.js and Astro, offering type-safe support and built-in authentication.
Homepage Widget API: Developers can now customize the Strapi admin dashboard with widgets displaying project stats, content overviews, and custom metrics.
Official Integrations: Strapi now offers built-in integrations with Shopify, BigCommerce, Cloudinary, and AWS, streamlining content and commerce management.
Strapi is now available on AWS Marketplace, simplifying enterprise deployments and enhancing accessibility for cloud-native environments. This move allows organizations to deploy Strapi production clusters via AWS Marketplace in a few clicks, enjoying unified AWS billing and 24×7 infrastructure support.
Beyond the sessions, the most meaningful moments came from engaging with the Strapi team, partners, and fellow developers. We were thrilled to see a strong Polish presence at the conference, highlighting Poland's growing influence in the global tech scene.
Notably, Anna Kudelska, a product designer at Strapi, and Marzena Brzózko, who leads people operations, represented the Polish talent contributing to Strapi's success. Additionally, Mateusz Ziarko from VirtusLab delivered a lightning talk on "The Power of Strapi Custom Fields for Plugin Creators," showcasing the innovative work coming out of Poland. These interactions reaffirmed our belief that Poland is a hub for high-quality software development, with engineers educated at top technical universities and a thriving community eager to contribute to open-source projects.
Our experiences at StrapiConf 2025 underscored Poland's position as a leading destination for CMS development and SEO projects. The country's robust educational system produces highly skilled engineers, and the tech community is both vibrant and collaborative.
