Recent years have seen artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly coming into use in various industry sectors, including customer service and business process automation. AI chatbots supported by the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model have revolutionised how companies communicate with their customers and manage their internal processes.
At MakoLab, we constantly monitor trends and, indeed, shape them ourselves, which is why we organised a webinar entitled “The HOW TO of AI Chatbots with RAG” in early March. It was led by MakoLab’s Head of AI Team, Maciej Stanisławski, and Head of Digital Solutions, Jacek Popko, together with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Enterprise Account Manager Maciej Tałałaj. The three speakers discussed how to design and build a chatbot, with an AI-powered culinary assistant created in collaboration with AWS for Maspex Group providing a live example of our technology deployed and in action.
Has that captured your interest? If so, watch the entire recording:
After Jacek Popko had briefly run through the agenda and introduced MakoLab, Maciej Stanisławski took the stage. He gave a detailed explanation of the RAG-based architecture that combines AI technology with large document data sets, pointing out that retrieval argument generation is a technology that is brilliant in its simplicity. He then moved on to presenting how the RAG model works and gave a real-time demonstration of the culinary chatbot created for Maspex Group, along with showing the attendees what the RAG architecture looks like.
Maciej Tałałaj was next to speak. He addressed how AWS provides the necessary resources for building and maintaining AI models. His contribution gave the participants an opportunity to learn how implementing solutions on the AWS platform allows access to a range of tools necessary to machine learning and data analysis.
Jacek Popko then took the floor. His emphasis was on the business benefits to be gained from the technology. After clarifying the distinction between customer-facing, external chatbots and inhouse, internal ones, he not only identified key internal use-cases by task type, but concluded by listing the sectors where chatbots can prove to be a driving force for business.
Using AI chatbots with RAG in business brings numerous benefits, ranging from increasing process efficiency to improving customer service quality. As an expert in the field, MakoLab held the webinar to share knowledge about these advanced solutions, how to implement them and how this technology can transform customer interactions and support an organisation’s development.
We highly recommend watching the recording of the webinar.
Happy viewing!
