Helios – global-scale rebranding
Exceptional creativity and broad experience in the field of marketing strategies and online branding were the reasons why DigitasLBi became the main provider and coordinating entity of one of the world’s biggest global rebranding operations – the Helios project for Renault-Nissan. The goal of this international project, involving hundreds of people, was to introduce changes in the identification, communication, and overall vision of the online presence for all brands of the corporation worldwide: Renault, Nissan, Dacia, Infiniti, and the reactivated Datsun.
Possessing technical expertise highly praised by DigitasLBi, MakoLab was invited to participate in this ambitious enterprise. We were able to contribute to nearly all technological layers of the Helios project, while the integration of global guidelines, including various region-specific external systems, became the main province of our operations. Establishing paths of integration between the global strategy and its realisation in a local environment, we often adjusted entire dedicated components created by us from scratch – such as the Lead Management Tool (LMT) dedicated for Renault, or the financial calculators available from the level of the websites.
The close cooperation with DigitasLBi on the Helios project allowed MakoLab to significantly enrich its competences. The applied methodology of project management called Agile-Scrum involved working within an international structure and a multicultural environment, which due to the global reach of the project directly benefited MakoLab in terms of organisational and technological development and professional satisfaction.
